Senior PHP/JS Developer

For one of our cross-functional teams we are seeking to hire an enthusiastic and hard-working Senior PHP/JS Developer.

The product:
A leading hosting platform to run, automate and grow applications, websites and hosting businesses. The platform is running on more than 384,000 servers, automating 11M+ websites and 15M+ mail boxes. Available in more than 32 languages across 140 countries, 50% of the top 100 service providers worldwide.

This solution has simplified the lives of SysAdmins and SMBs since the early 2000’s and continues to add value across multiple cloud services. The hosting platform effectively enables application developers by providing access to a simple and more secure web infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in product development as part of a team.
• Decomposition and problem solving, participation in design review, code review, etc.
• Elaboration of solution ideas and creating prototypes.
• Fostering development environment, including test automation infrastructure and telemetry.
• Participation in managing technical debt and dependencies.

Requirements:

• Min. 3 years of development experience.
• Experience in creating testable code and test automation.
• Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript (ES6).
• Understanding the concept and principles of modern web applications.
• Ability to analyze problems and find solutions.
• Ability to evaluate tasks, identify dependencies and assess risks.
• Fluent English

Would be nice if you have an experience with:

• Building CI/CD processes and automated pipelines.
• Processing product telemetry and feedback.
• Testing hypotheses and creating prototypes.
• Creating multi-component scalable services and/or products (e.g., AWS-based).
• Appreciating Lean-production principles and practices (minimizing waste, teamwork, and so on).
• An open mind and willingness to develop new skills, grow expertise and share knowledge.
