    The Project Officer is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control and completion of given projects, while remaining aligned with INCA's strategy, commitments and goals.
    Reporting to: INCA Executive Director
    Responsibilities:
    • Plan and implement projects
    • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
    • Define tasks and required resources
    • Collect and manage project team (and volunteers), where necessary
    • Manage budget
    • Allocate project resources
    • Create schedule and project timeline
    • Track deliverables
    • Support and direct team
    • Monitor and report on project progress
    • Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
    • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
    • Evaluate and assess result of project

    The International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance (INCA) is a global alliance made up of 20 patient advocacy and research groups, commited to be the global voice of neuroendocrine cancer patients.
    INCA offers a demanding position in an international setting, with attractive opportunities to develop ambitious projects and network with global leaders in the medical profession and patient advocacy. 

    Key projects for 2018/2019 include:
    Communications and website
    • Provide updates to the ED/Board of Directors on INCA’s communications activities and performance
    • Enhance INCA’s image by improving its external communications using different channels (e.g. social media, website etc), more specifically:
    • Website- interact with the web agency to merge the websites, including:
    • Develop consistent messages about NETs in lay language;
    • Coordinate the dissemination of multi-language INCA resources;
    • Social media: expand INCA exposure in online media; use different formats and communication channels to relay messages about NETs and INCA activities more effectively
    • E-newsletters: monthly and topical - coordinate communication with INCA members with relation to monthly and topical newsletters, develop newsletter content, design layout, etc.
    • White Paper publication and translated infographics: implement a publicity plan
    • Coordinate NET Cancer Day campaign - work with media and relevant stakeholders to increase global impact
    Access to Optimal Care and Treatment for NET Patients
    • Coordinate the translations and dissemination of the access challenges survey
    • Map the existing patient information resources in view of creating a multi-lingual repository
    • Develop resources, including patient-friendly materials on NETs treatment and care in different formats 
    Advance NET Research
    • Establish a clinical trial database for NET research to be available on the website
    • Map existing tools and resources on educating patients about research and clinical trials
    • Develop resources, including educational materials for a "Boot Camp" of patient experts
    • Assist in convening patient webinars
    Fundraising: assist implementation as per Board's plan.
