    One of our clients is an international FinTech company, the first global brand for card payments, that provides innovative solutions for micro and small businesses and has a clear vision and perspective towards the future. We are now looking for a responsible professional with experience in the accounting field with a desire for development in a rapidly developing multicultural company, who would join their team in the position of:
     
    Team Lead Accounting
     
    Responsibilities:
    ·         Organize the daily operations of the Accounting Team per Tribe/Businesses
    ·          Key liaison between Finance Reporting Manager and Accounting Team
    ·          Work closely with Finance Reporting Manager to ensure smooth and efficient reporting process
    ·          Responsible for keeping the monthly closing and reporting deadlines
    ·          Ensure compliance with IFRS requirements and approve/review general ledger journal entries
    ·          Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis based on actual data
    ·          Prepare annual stand-alone IFRS and variance analysis per legal entity
    ·          Review monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation
    ·          Participate in the review of monthly VAT tax declarations for the entities in scope
    ·          Prepare annual CIT return for the entities in scope
    ·          Work closely with FP&A Business Partner and support the preparation of key deliverables per
    ·         Tribe/Businesses (e.g. flash accounts, actual vs budget variance analysis, annual budget, budget reforecast, cash flow forecast, etc.)
    ·          Ensure compliance and right internal controls in place related to General Ledger
    ·          Control preparer/reviewer (mainly General Ledger Controls)
    ·          Support and participate in Control Self-Assessment testing process for the relevant businesses to identify and rectify any potential or existing weaknesses
    ·          Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
    ·          Provide recommendations
    ·          Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
    ·          Support ad hoc projects like assisting with SAP implementation/upgrade, global chart of accounts implementation, Tax Audits, etc.
    ·          External/Internal audit assistance
     
     
    Qualifications: 
    ·         Bachelor’s degree (BA) or Master in Accounting is required
    ·         Qualified ACCA or equivalent
    ·         3 - 5 years of increasing financial responsibility in a similar position
    ·         Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, IFRS, tax, laws and regulation
    ·         Advanced computer skills on MS Office and strong experience with SAP
    ·         Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
    ·         High attention to detail and accuracy
    ·         Fluent English both verbal and written
    ·         Ability to direct and supervise
    ·         People focused leader with strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate, lead and support teams
    ·         SOX experience would be considered as a benefit
