Math School Regional Manager

We are an American based network of schools who support more than 60,000 children in their quest to master mathematics. We have an office operating in Sofia and we are looking for a Regional Manager who is enthusiastic about math education to lead our Bulgarian team.

Position Summary

The Regional Manager is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day development of the Bulgarian team. The position works in close contact with the RSM HQ in Boston, Massachusetts.

Essential Responsibilities

• Recruits, onboards and manages the RSM Bulgaria team of Curriculum Specialists, Training Specialists and Teachers
• Works as the main connection between the Bulgarian Team and the HQ 
• Supports the team in their tasks in Curriculum and Training
• Works in close proximity with the heads of the Curriculum and Training Departments
• Teach classes online to achieve a deeper understanding of the product of RSM.
• Observe classes to understand the practical application of RSM curricula.
• Travel to the RSM HQ in Boston, Massachusetts at least once a year for ongoing training and development

Required Qualifications
 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree; either high school degree or Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field with demonstrated advanced knowledge of Mathematics
• Relevant work experience: Teaching experience for at least two years, team management experience is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Desire to develop and lead a team of math specialists that provide excellent math education to K-12 students
