Finance Trainee

You will have the chance to go through three of our key finance departments Customer Finance, Operations Finance and Strategic Finance. Thus you will have the incredible opportunity to understand the specifics and link the dots between the various finance processes and together we will find the best area within finance for you to dive in and develop further. 85% of our interns become our permanent employees. Let us tell you a bit more about what you could expect from this internship: 
 
Customer Finance  is telecom specific area that connects the finance goal with the customer lifecycle.  The team takes care about credit risk, credit control, billing systems, fraud control, billing and payment control, revenue assurance and commissioning systems. Collaboration with commercial, legal and rest of finance teams is critical. Customer finance trainee can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a willingness to expand your data management skills and be curious to understand the data expression and meaning.

 

While in this department as trainee you will:

• Take part in credit risk management and reporting
• Billing control corrections and other ad hoc tasks
• Dunning and external collection process maintenance

 

Operations Finance is the department that help business make financial decisions by collecting, tracking, correcting, and communicating information about the financial position of the company. They record transactions, compile and analyze data, perform audits, assist with budgets and financial forecasting, compute taxes, and report to management and other entities, such as the Tax office or investors. Accountants can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. 

While in this department as trainee you will: 

• Oversee document flow in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) streams
• Process invoices and respond to inquiries about expenses, revenues, payment flows.
• Do reconciliation of Accounts receivable  and Accounts payable balances
• Support collection/ preparation of financial information for the needs of internal/ external audits/ tax inspections

 

Strategic Finance in Yettel is the management watch dog. This team oversees, summarizes and reports the financial and operational performance of the company, extract lessons & hints from the past and present, and projects the future. They work with colleagues from all divisions to help them and the management in making smart, educated, profitable decisions. 

 

While in this department as trainee you will: 

• Take part in regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis activities on various topics
• Take part in planning/forecast preparation
• Assist in analysis of different propositions for commercial offers, new investment or efficiency projects

Few things that are not mandatory but will give you the chance to shine while we select our new interns are: 

• Previews experience with Excel advanced functions, Access or other data management tool 
• Previous experience with SAP or other ERP systems
