The impact you’ll make:Supervise and ensure efficient execution of Accounts Payable, fixed assets and inventory related processes, including bookkeeping, reconciliations and reporting. Maintain compliance with statutory, tax, and internal requirements while supporting the line manager and contributing to accurate financial closing and reporting.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Accounts Payable Accountants and support the line manager
  • Monitor and process AP journal entries in compliance with company policies, IFRS/NAS and tax regulations
  • Manage accruals and reversals and support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure proper structuring and maintenance of accounts in the accounting system
  • Oversee cost allocation across GL accounts, cost centers and reporting dimensions
  • Perform and control reconciliation of general ledger, AP, fixed assets and inventory accounts
  • Monitor AP balances, including ageing, analysis and reporting
  • Prepare monthly AP and inventory ageing reports with supporting analysis
  • Manage inventory valuation and accounting processes
  • Maintain and control AP, fixed asset and inventory master data
  • Manage accounting of fixed asset and inventory lifecycle (additions, disposals, adjustments, revaluations)
  • Ensure accurate calculation and recording of depreciation expenses
  • Support preparation of audit documentation and ensure readiness for internal and external audits
  • Monitor document flow and ensure compliance with internal procedures and statutory requirements
  • Support development and improvement of AP, fixed assets and inventory policies and procedures
  • Participate in ERP/system improvements related to AP, asset and inventory processes
  • Track company assets, including participation in physical inventory counts

 

We expect from you:

  • Good knowledge of local and international accounting standards (NAS, IAS/IFRS)
  • Good understanding of local tax legislation
  • Relevant professional experience in accounting; AP, fixed assets or inventory experience is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of accounting processes: AP, accruals, reconciliations, asset accounting
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel); ERP/SAP experience is an advantage
  • Good command of English (written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Experience and knowledge of AI will be advantage
