.NET Integration Developer

Currently in Aristocrat Interactive, we are looking for a Senior System Administrator . More on the responsibilities and requirements of the role you can find down below:

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle the configuration and operation of computer operating systems
• Develop and verify backups of data
• Update systems as the need arises for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, XDR and antivirus programs
• Monitoring of Operating Systems’ performance and availability
• File Server and DNS support and maintenance
• Windows systems setup and configuration
• Linux systems installation and configuration
• Setting up and handling VMware platforms
• Configuring the platform for MS SQL Servers
• Handling AWS services
• Establishing and managing Active Directory and Windows-based environments
• Maintain up-to-date user documentation
• Maintain clear communication with immediate manager, with respect to work undertaken and ensure that performance standards/expectations should not get breached.
• Regularly update and consult with direct manager regarding ongoing tasks and projects.
• Provide timely progress reports and seek mentorship as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
• Attend & chip in to team huddles, meetings & ad hoc meetings when required.
• Assist in additional duties and assignments as assigned by supervisors or management to support the achievement of department and interpersonal goals.
• Participating in on-call schedule

 

 

II. INFORMATION LINKS AND RELATIONSHIP

• In their everyday work the Senior System Administrator is subordinate to the Managing Director of the Company, according to the approved Company’interpersonal chart.
• Work closely with all relevant parties both inside and outside the organization.

 

III. REQUIREMENTS

• In-depth experience with Windows and Linux server administration
• Knowledge of how to configure and maintain VMware platforms
• Experience with infrastructure for MS SQL servers
• En-depth experience with AWS or Azure or GCP
• In-depth understanding of server, network and application security
• Experience with configuring and handling directory services and Windows operating system environments
• Experience with Firewalls and Networking
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
